Biography
The Paul Austin Band deliver high-energy, no-nonsense UK rock, fusing classic grit with modern fire, melody, and hard-hitting songwriting. Fronted by seasoned singer-songwriter Paul Austin, the band has built a reputation for hook-driven songs and powerful live performances that land with both traditional rock fans and new audiences alike.
Blending British heavy rock, blues, and Americana-tinged storytelling, their sound shifts effortlessly between anthemic rockers and emotive ballads, always driven by strong melodies and authentic delivery.
Their debut album Austintacious gets a full digital release on 16 January 2026 via Nil By Mouth Records, featuring standout tracks including the heartfelt "Stop the Rain" and the socially charged "Land of Plenty", both praised for their honesty, hooks, and contemporary edge.
A formidable live act, the band have taken their sound beyond the UK with a standout performance at the Whisky A Go Go, Los Angeles (8 August 2025), alongside major UK appearances including the HRH 18 After Party (8 November 2025). They are currently on the road supporting their live release Raising Hell: Live at the Whisky A Go Go, capturing the raw energy that's fast becoming their trademark.
Garnering support from independent rock press, blogs, and grassroots radio, The Paul Austin Band continue to build momentum, with particular praise for Austin's commanding vocals, tight musicianship, and a sound that bridges classic rock heritage with modern relevance.
With a growing reputation on both sides of the Atlantic, The Paul Austin Band are proving that guitar-driven rock is alive, loud, and built for the stage.
Their current release, "Raising Hell: Live at The Whisky a Go Go", is available on CD and across all streaming platforms.
